In Loving Memory of Dena Mae Clabaugh May 23, 1934 - Jan 9, 2024 Dena Mae Clabaugh, known affectionately as Dee, Dee Dee, Mom, Grandma, and Gigi, passed away on January 9, 2024, after a brief and sudden illness. Born on May 23, 1934, she was the only child of Jack and Olive (Talifson) Wold, in Tacoma, WA. Dee graduated from Stadium High School in 1952, leaving a legacy as a champion tennis player and an avid golfer. Her passion for sports was a defining aspect of her vibrant personality. Throughout her life, she embraced adventure and lived her life on her own terms. In her journey through life, Dee was married four times. Although she did not have any biological children, she warmly welcomed her spouses' children as her own. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond blood ties, creating a loving and inclusive family. Dee's wanderlust led her to explore the world, and she cherished the wonderful adventures that life offered. Her free-spirited approach to life remained unwavering until the very end. She leaves behind a legacy of joy, resilience, and an indomitable spirit. Settling permanently in Lake Havasu City, AZ, many years ago, Dee found solace in golfing, cherished moments with friends, and lived a fulfilling life surrounded by the beauty of the desert landscape. In her later years, she resided at Prestige Assisted Living, where she forged lasting friendships and continued to find joy in each day. Honoring her wishes, Dee was cremated, and her ashes were interred in both Tacoma, WA, and Payette, ID, places that held special significance in her heart. She leaves behind a multitude of cousins, stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will forever cherish the memories they shared with this remarkable woman. Dena Mae Clabaugh's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her warmth, kindness, and zest for life. May she rest in eternal peace.
