Born on May 23, 1934, she was the only child of Jack and Olive (Talifson) Wold, in Tacoma, WA. Dee graduated from Stadium High School in 1952, leaving a legacy as a champion tennis player and an avid golfer. Her passion for sports was a defining aspect of her vibrant personality. Throughout her life, she embraced adventure and lived her life on her own terms. In her journey through life, Dee was married four times. Although she did not have any biological children, she warmly welcomed her spouses' children as her own. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond blood ties, creating a loving and inclusive family.
