James Henry Childe James Henry Childe, born October 7, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska to Henry Dell and James Gavin Childe died in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Jim was a graduate of Omaha Central High School. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and his Juris Doctorate from the Nebraska College of Law. Jim was also an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Jim is preceded in death by his second wife, Jeanne as well as his first wife, and mother of his children Sharon O’Hare Schrock. He is survived by daughter Kerry Childe of St. Paul, MN, daughter Nancy (Brian) Polson of Omaha, NE and son James Robert (Jessy) Childe of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Caitlin Childe-Archuleta, Hunter and Alexa Blackman, and Beckham and Isla Childe. He was a lover of M.A.S.H., Big Bang Theory, and Jeopardy. He also enjoyed being an educator and professor at Mohave Community College at Lake Havasu City in the Business Department. He will be interred at Calvary Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska. Family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Western Arizona Humane Society, 2610 Sweetwater Ave, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406.
