Obituary of Sue Campbell

Sue Campbell, 88, went to heaven to be with Jesus on January 1. 2019. Her beloved husband of 69 years, Bob, was waiting joyously at heaven’s gate for Sue’s arrival.

Sue was born in New York and lived there until 1972 when she moved to Lake Havasu City from Long Island, New York. During her early years in Lake Havasu, Sue worked at the State Bank, Mohave Savings & Loan, and H & R Block.

Sue was preceded in death by her soul mate, Bob.

Sue is survived by her 2 daughters, Donna Mongeon and Debbie (Cary) Russell; 8 grandchildren, Tim (Rachel) Anderson, Susie (Brian) McDonald, Lea Mongeon, Michelle (Andrew) Witzel, Christina (Marian) Golea, Robert Russell, Megan (Damien) Plunkett, Benjamin Russell; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Sue was the glue that held her family together, she never met a stranger, and she lived her faith in God every moment of each day. She will be sorely missed.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Havasu and the expert care and support they provided during Sue’s last months. Also, our greatest appreciation to Hospice of Havasu’s Polidori House, where Sue spent the last few days of her life surrounded by care and compassion.
