Thea Wiedeman

–

Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Thea Lynn Wiedeman, affectionately known to her loved ones as "Chicken," brought a ray of sunshine into the world on the 29th of September, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. On the 11th of December, 2025, Thea's spirited and tenacious spirit chose to continue her journey elsewhere, leaving behind a legacy of courage and an indomitable spirit that touched everyone who knew her. Thea lived her life in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where she was cherished by her family and her best friends Jesse the Giraffe, Melvin the Unicorn, and Charlie the Chicken.

Thea was a vibrant, funny, and loving soul who, despite her young age, made a profound impact on the world around her. She was a force of nature, smart beyond her years, and full of life. Thea took great delight in playing with her toys, and her courage was evident as she fought off nurses with a spirit that defied her tender years. She was a real-life superhero, kicking CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia) booty! Thea loved to look stylish with her bows and printed swaddles, and she relished cuddle time. She was not a fan of stretching, but she had an infinite capacity for love and laughter. She had a penchant for listening to Disney stories, particularly Beauty and the Beast. In the words of Belle, "She warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within."

Thea was greatly loved by her mother, Tatelynn Shoemake; father, Tristan Wiedeman; sister, Taela Wiedeman; and a large extended family. Her grandparents, Heather Gewecke (Gigi), Robin Shoemake (Lolly), Robert Shoemake (PaPa), Tim Gewecke (Grandpa), and Sharon Kirk (MeMaw) doted on her. Her aunts and uncles, Raigan Mcguire, Tyce Shoemake, Thomas Mcguire, Maddie Wiess, and Alyshia Drozdzal, also held her in their hearts. Thea's light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of each of these individuals, and she will forever be remembered for her strength and infectious spirit.

A service to celebrate Thea’s life will be held on Tuesday, 23rd of December, 2025, at 12:00pm MST at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 21 Riviera Boulevard, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, 86403. We invite you to share your memories and photos of Thea on her memorial page, where we will gather to remember the joy she brought into our lives. As we celebrate Thea's life, let us remember her for the loving, spirited, and smart girl she was. Let us celebrate her unyielding courage, her playfulness, and the love she had for her cow toy, her family, and her best friends. Thea Wiedeman, our "Chicken," has left an indelible print in our hearts, and her legacy will continue to inspire us all.
