Judith Young Obituary (1946 - 2024) - Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Judy Carol Young, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 31, 2024. Judy was born on November 21, 1946, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the daughter of Joseph and Jane-Marie Ruebel. Judy was a classic military brat and moved around frequently before finally settling down here in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Judy married Bob Young on February 14, 2001 in California. They moved to Lake Havasu in 2005. They were both involved in their community and were members of the local Elk’s club as well as the Havasu Classic Car club. Judy worked for many years as a nurse as well as working for the Lorillard Tobacco Company before retiring. Judy was also a member of the local Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Judy loved to quilt and sew and was a member of the Havasu Stitchers and Sew-City sewing clubs. Remaining to cherish Judy’s memory are her children and their families; Brian Pignet and his wife Tasha, Paul Pignet, and Ron Young who is Bob’s son. Judy had several grandchildren and they include; Cera and Eric Pignet, Josh Morgan, and Kelsi Young, her fur children; Louie and Mickey; Judy had many friends who were also like members of her family and they include; Carol Pouge, Wes Kohrs, Ron and Lois Hodge, Deanna Hoffer, Fred Tillman, Diana Austin, Diane and Monte McCue, Christine and Jeff Anderson, and too many more to list. Preceding Judy in death are her spouse Bob Young; her brother, Peter; and her parents Colonel Joseph and Jean-Marie Ruebel. Judy did not wish to have any funeral services.
